Almond Milk Chai Latte

2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 tsp fresh grated ginger

1 tsp fresh grated turmeric

favorite chai tea

favorite sweetener (I used coconut sugar)



1Gently simmer almond milk with ginger and turmeric in small saucepan over medium-low heat for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally. (You should see tiny bubbles around the perimeter of pan to know it's simmering.)

2Once done, you can either pour directly in a mug or strain through a fine mesh strainer. The latte will have a stronger ginger/turmeric flavor if you don't strain so it's personal preference!

3You can steep your favorite chai tea right in the mug for desired amount of time. Once done, stir in favorite sweetener if desired and sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!
